Getting Started

If you're beginning the process of finding an NGSS science curriculum for your district or classroom, we offer many resources to help you familiarize yourself with the Cereal City Science program.

Curriculum Samples - We can provide samples of all of our NGSS Teacher Guides and Student Journals. Request Sample Guides

Sales Consultation - Cereal City Science is also available for science unit demonstrations in-person with your team. A Cereal City Science consultant will meet with your team for an in-depth look into our curriculum and how it’s taught in the classroom. Together, we'll explore how the curriculum has been designed for NGSS and three-dimensional learning, as well as, Common Core State Standards for literacy and math integrations. Our consultants will be able to answer any questions and offer tips on implementation and sustainability. Pilot Program

The Science Unit Pilot Program is a great opportunity for districts to evaluate the Cereal City Science curriculum to see if it's a good fit with their needs and resources.

Curriculum Review (Teacher Guides Only) - The Curriculum Review pilot is a six-week, teacher guide only review giving districts the opportunity to assess the curriculum outside of the classroom. The Curriculum Review pilot includes an on-site consultation and up to three teacher guides in any grade or subject.

In-Classroom Evaluation - The In-Classroom Evaluation pilot is an extended 6-12 week option to complete a full, in-classroom evaluation of selected units. In-classroom evaluations include an on-site consultation and up to six teacher guides and material kits. Districts should plan to purchase Student Journals as an add-on to get a complete picture of the curriculum.

Pilot Program Training - While training is optional for the pilot program, we find that pilots are more successful when accompanied by at least a "condensed" version of our unit training.

Purchase

Purchase order process – To complete a purchase, please submit an order form and a purchase order from your organization. (Cereal City Science is unable to accept credit cards at this time). Once a purchase order is received, we will work with you or your staff to coordinate shipping/receiving. We will also work with you or your designee to coordinate unit training.
